If you happen to live in cold climates then you appreciate the use of fleece fabric in your clothing. fleece fabric has grown in popularity in areas best known for cold outdoor sports such as skiing, snowboarding, or just for keeping warm. Fleece fabric wicks away the moisture on the body, dries quickly, and retains heat well. Fabrics once used where the man-made fleece fabric is today was wool. The disadvantages for wool was while it is warm, it would retain the moisture, it was harder to clean, scratchy, and did not react well to being wet.
Fleece fabric on the other hand is hypoallergenic, resistant to water, breaths, and is warm. While an awesome material, fleece fabric is also not without some issues. It is flammable; fabric-softening sheets will damage the fabrics, and the heat from the dryer with cause issues. One other problem with fleece fabric is cheap fabrics tend to break down quickly, pile without must wear, and attracts huge amounts of lint. Most of these issues are easily taken care of. Buy better quality fleece fabric items for wearing and hand dry your fleece fabrics rather than tossing them in the dryer.
