HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PLAN:

  • To develop an informative website;
  • Create an (800) Information Line;
  • Develop a statewide training program;
  • Conduct four state-wide housing summits;
  • Develop innovative funding strategies to sustain the Institute and fund future housing development;
  • Expand membership;
  • Co-sponsor training workshops;
  • Build a sense of community; Collect and disseminate “best practices” on various housing topics;
  • And provide technical consultation.
The California Affordable Housing Institute is a creative collaboration of individuals and organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities. Our primary focus (purpose is to advance the development of quality, affordable housing options throughout the State of California.)

This Summit is designed for individuals ororganizations interested in affordable housing options for people with developmental disabilities. We will ask for your input and feedback.
